One Success Story
Herman William Neunaber Sr. (1858–1916)

Herman’s journey is a great example of the "American Dream." Although he is not part of our direct Etzel lineage, his life shows the impact the Neunaber name had in the Midwest.

He arrived in 1866 as a young boy and worked his way up to become a respected farmer.

He left such a mark on his community that they even named a street after the family: South Neunaber Drive in Bethalto, Illinois.
